COMMISSION MEMBERS PRESENT: Geri Napuck, Chair; John Brill, Vice Chair; Tom
Bierman, Lee Elliott-S toering, Randy Jacobus and
Joan Oko, Rob Barrett, Jeffrey Gerst and Ian
Mackay
COMMISSION STAFF PRESENT: Jay Lotthammer, Parks and Recreation Director;
Laurie Obiazor, Recreation Services Manager;
Stu Fox, Parks and Natural Resources Manager
The Parks, Recreation and Natural Resources Commission and staff meet for a BBQ picnic while
the Lambert Pavilion was dedicated to honor Bob Lambert's 29 years of service as Eden Prairie
Parks and Recreation Director.
Following the dedication, the Commission and staff toured the city to visit various park
locations. They traveled to:
1. Outdoor Center—Observatory Location
2. Cedar Hills Park—General Area
3. Flying Cloud Fields —Expansion Site
4. Miller Park—Soccer Fields 12/13
5. Round Lake Park—Baseball Stadium Site
6. County Road 4 —Bike Trail Update
7. Birch Island Park—Parking Lot, Storm Pond, Trail Connection
8. Forest Hills Park—Park Building and Site Update
It started to rain, so the group was not able to visit Edenvale Park.

The next regular meeting of the Commission is scheduled for Monday, August 4, 2008 at
7:00 p.m. in the City Council Chambers.
