CITY OF EDEN PRAIRIE
EDEN PRAIRIE PARK AND RECREATION COMMISSION MEETING
November 13, 1967 8;00 p.m. Village Hall
Present; Chuck Brace, Dave Osterholt, Harry Picha, Frances

The meeting was called to order by the Vice Chairman,
Chuck Brace.
Minutes M/Picha, S/Osterholt that the minutes of the Oct. 9 meeting
be approved as corrected: Page 2 of the Brauer discussion notes
bottom line should read 82nd rather than 92nd Street. The Secretary
was to ask Brauer about his comments on Purgatory Creek being a
j village or regional responsibility, pertinent to the statement in
the minutes on Page 2 of Brauerls notes, paragraph 2.
M/Picha, S/Osterholt that the minutes of the special meeting
of Oct. 30 be approved as printed (without discussion notes).

Metro Planning Dave Osterholt said he would be picking up copies of the Guide
Guide for all E.P. commission members.

By-Laws A copy of the By-haws as amended at the Oct. 9 meeting are to
be sent to the Village Attorney, Harlan Perbix, for his opinion
and recommendations.
Municipal Standa266- The Secretary was asked to order copies of Standards for Municipal
Recreation Areas, .by George D. Butler, for each Commission member,
from the National Recreation Association, 8 W. 8th St., N.Y.
% Goals Commission members should draw up park and recreation goals to
study and discuss at the December meeting. The concensus of these
goals will be passed on to Brauer and Associates.
Bill Holte will give his summer recreation report at the Dec.
meeting.
M/Picha, S/Blacklock that the meeting be adjourned. Carried.
