Parks and Recreation - 11/06/1966 i 1966 NOVEMBER 6 ME*4UTES CITY OF EDEN PRAIRIE a -;a EDEN PRAIRIE PARK AND RECREATION MEETING `- November 6, 1966 On the Dail Kutcher property Present: Howard Merriman, Harry Picha, Frances Blacklock Kutcher Property Commission members met with Emil and Archie Kutcher for the purpose of looking over their land for possible purchase by the Village of Eden Prairie for park purposes. The land is a mixture of rolling terrain, partly wooded and partly open. Low spots could be filled by grading some of the open knolls, to make all the land usable for multiple park use. Some additional fill might be necessary. M/Merriman, S/Picha that the Eden Prairie Park and Recreation Commission recommend to the Eden Prairie � . Planning and Zoning Commission and to the Village Council that the Emil and Archie Kutcher property, comprising seventeen acres on the northwest shore of Birch Island Lake and east of County Road 4 be purchased by the Village of Eden Prairie for park purposes. Motion carried unanimously. The meeting was adjourned.
