May 2, 1966 8:00 p.m.

Present: Don Nygaard, Howard Merriman, Ken Anderson,
Frances Blacklock= Rill Holte, Summer Recreation
Director. Guest: Rev. Alden Kieski, Methodist
Church of Eden Prairie
The meeting was called to order by the chairman, Don Nygaard.

neighborhood children could use it for a play area. He felt
the nearby residents might help make improvements if the
basic leveling were done.

request of the Council an opinion by the Village Engineer on ✓
the grading of the four acres of village property east of the
Methodist Church for an all-purpose nighborhood recreation area.

Curfew Rev. Kieski suggested that it might be helpful to ask the
Hennepin County Sherriffts office if curfews are a help in
law enforcement.
Summer Rec. Schedule M/Anderson, S/Merriman that the Summer Recreation Schedule f
as laid out be printed, 2,000 copies on an 81 x 11 card, dark
green ink on white stock. Don Nygaard will follow through
with printer. Carried.
Prairie View Sch. The Park Board will meet June 6 at Prairie View School to 1001k

At our May 2 meeting it was moved, seconded and carried that
" we request of the Council an opinion by the Village Engineer

Reeve Alden Kieski of the Methodist Church appeared at our.Meeting
to inquire about this land:e saying that neairW residents,would
very lika2y be interested in helping to improve the land for a
