MIN- UTES CITY OF EDEN PRAIRIE 3 EDEN PRAIRIE PARK AND RECREATION COMMISSION MEETING February 7, 3.966 Eden Prairie Village Hall Present: Don Nygaard, Chairman, Howard Merriman Frances Blacklock M/Merrimn, S/Blacklock that the minutes stand approved as printed. Carried. Nygaard's term The secretary was requested to send a letter to the Council suggesting that Don Nygaard's term on the Park and Recrea- tion Commission be extended until January 1, 1967 so that theterms of the three appointed members would each fall on a different year for reappointment. By-Law change M/Merriman, S/Blacklock that January be deleted and February be inserted in its place in Article 1, Section 1 of the By Laws of the Eden Prairie Park and Recreation Commission. Carried. Election of officers M/Merriman, S/Blacklock that officers of the Park and Recreation Commission for the past year be re-instated for another year: Chairman - Don Nygaard, Vice Chairman - Secretary, Frances Blacklock. There was a discussion of the Government's 701 Program. Summer Rec. Schedule Plans for printing a schedule of all summer recreation programs in Eden Prairie was discussed. Schedules for all groups having any form of recreation will be included. It will be printed on a form which can conveniently be posted in the home. Eden Prairie sponsors will be solicited for help in defraying the printing costs. Distribution will be through the school, churches and civic groups in May.
