Planning Commission - 10/15/1968 ZONING AND PLANNING COMMISSION MEETING 15 October, 1968
The meeting was called to order by Odmor Skjelbostad, Vice Chairman, at
8:00 P.M.

ITEM 10-8-68 EDEN PRAIRIE INDUSTRIAL CENTER PLAT - PUBLIC HEARING
The information is in Hearing File #37.
Mr. Warren Shultz removed himself from all actions. Mr. Q. K. Wood and
Mr. Jim Lindsey presented the plat and Mr. Wood recommended it to the Board.
Mr. Robert Doyle, representing Char-Lynn, questioned the small lots preferring
larger buildings in the area. It was explained they are set small so that a
purchaser could buy more than one and they could facilitate the survey by
having a layout of this type. Also being S I the Council still has to approve
what went into the area.
Motion was made by Henry Hauser, seconded by Homer Raguet to recommend to the
Council the approval of the plat of Eden Prairie Industrial Center.
The motion carried.
Mr. Lindsey has submitted his preliminary plans for a development in
Eden Prairie. This will be on the agenda of 11-5-68.
Mr. Pladson presented more information on the proposed zoning ordinance.
