Planning Commission - 09/03/1968 PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION 3 September, 1968
The meeting was called to order by Chairman Nesbitt at 8:00 P.M.

ITEM 7-2-68 MINUTES
Motion was made by Warren Shultz, seconded by Henry Hauser to approve the minutes of
8-6-68 as published with the following correction: Item 8-A-68, first line,
change Barrs to Burns.
The motion carried.
Motion was made by Henry Hauser, seconded by Warren Shultz to approve the
minutes of 8-20-68 as published.
The motion carried.
ITEM 8-2-68 PUBLIC HEARING ON CROSSTOWN INDUSTRIAL PARK, PRELIMINARY PLAT
The engineering data was not complete.
Motion was made by Warren Shultz, seconded by Henry Hauser to continue the hearing
until 10-1-68 on the preliminary plat of Crosstown Industrial Park.
The motion carried.
ITEM 9-3-68 CEDAR FOREST FINAL DRAFT
Motion was made by Homer Raguet, seconded by Vernon Emerson to recommend approval
of the final draft of Cedar Forest Plat to the Council.
The motion carried.
ITEM 9-A-68 MCPHEETERS PROPERTY
Mr. Morehouse and Mr. McDonald appeared to request action to rezone the McPheeters
property from R-2 to M-2. There was discussion with Mr. Brauer and the Board
on restrictions and S-I for part of the area, etc.
Motion was made by Warren Shultz, seconded by Henry Hauser to adopt Resolution
to set hearing date for 10-1-68 to rezone from R-2 to S-I or M-2 with Mr. Brauer's
restrictions and recommendations available for the hearing.
The motion carried.
ITEM 9-B-68 HIGHWAY 4 & 5 INTERCHANGE
Mr. Wood presented plans for upgrading State Highway 5 and County Road #4
interchange.
Motion was made by Vernon Emerson, seconded by Homer Raguet to recommend to the
Council approval of 315-SP2701-14 (TH 5-121) Jct TH 5-CSAH 4.
The motion carried.
Motion was made by Warren Shultz, seconded by Vernon Emerson that the meetinb be
adjourned at 9:45 P.M.
The motion carried.
There will be a Planning meeting 9-17-68 at which time Mr. Brauer will present
preliminary details for new zoning ordinance.
