ttt This was a telephone meeting called by Chairman Miller. Mr. Miller con-
tacted Mr. Hirt, Mr. Nesbitt, Dr. Wright, Mr. Cruse, Mr. Dale and Mr. Picha.
This meeting was held on the 24 day of May 1966 in the evening.
Mr. Miller presented the same question to each of these gentlemen.
We have an application for re-zoning at the point of the triangle
formed by Old State Highway 5 and New State Highway 169 on property owned
c; by Kenneth Anderson and L. M. Warden. They are asking that a public hear-
ing be scheduled on this so that their petition for re-zoning from RA to
SI can be heard as rapidly as possible in a public hearing and decisions by
the Zoning Board and Council can be made as rapidly as possible so that a
builder can start construction on this property this summer. These gentle-
men were asked the same question. If we can make the publication of May 26th
would you be in favor of holding this hearing on the regular meeting of
June 7th?
• All were in favor of the hearing b eing held on June 7th and the publication
was made on May 26th. After Mr. Miller had polled all the members of the
Planning and Zoning Commission, he called the Clerr, James Brown and informed
him that he had polled each and every member of the Planning and Zoning
Commission and that they all had voted affirmatively to hold a public hearing
on the 7th day of June, 1966, provided that the publication could be made on
the 26th day of May.
The meeting adjourned.
