At the May 2, 1966 meeting of the Park and Recreation
Commission, the following motion was made, seconded and
carried:
The Eden Prairie Park and Recreation Commission reaffirms
• its support of the Hennepin County Park Reserve District
program and their proposed acquisition in Eden Prairie.
In our opinion the best land usage of the area north of
Anderson Lakes between Highway 5 and the lake is for parks
or recreation.
