W. Miller, Chairman Dr. John H. Wright Anthony Hirt Cecil C. Cruse James C. Brown James Hawkes Ralph Nesbitt David Dale Quentin K. Wood ORDER OF BUSINESS: MINUTES The minutes of the meeting of April 20, 1965 stand approved as read. FRANK MC CARTHY - GLEN LAKE STATE BANK Mr. McCarthy made a request for a sign on the Eden Prairie Road at Rainbow Drive. i � Ordinance 8 restricts signs to C-2 Districts and this is an R-1 W District. CLIFF HENRY PROPERTY Uj Cliff Henry and Harry Johnson appeared with a preliminary plat for the area presently zoned P.O.C. and R.A. W It was moved by Anthony Hirt and seconded by Ralph Nesbitt that the Village should establish a contour line along Purgatory Creek on the Cliff Henry Property which would show the creek bed and flood plain level required in a park drainage way, and change the zoning of the balance of n the P.O.C. area involved to the zoning contiguous to it. 0 Motion carried. CARL KRAM ER Mr. Kraemer submitted a request to abandon Hillcrest Road. It was moved by John Wright and seconded by David Dale to recommend that the Council proceed with the necessary steps to accomplish the vacating of this road. Motion carried. - 2 - Zoning & Planning Commission Meeting May 4, 1965 CALVIN ANDERSON Mr. Anderson requested a variance for his front lot line on Eden Road to conform with those already established in the area. It was moved by John Wright and seconded by Ralph Nesbitt to recommend approval of up to a 10 foot variance on the front lot line to conform to the area. Motion carried. SOUTHWEST LAND CORP. J. Russell Carroll appeared with the owners of Southwest Land Corporation for a preliminary request for a trailer court on the Wood- ward Property. It was moved by Cecil Cruse and seconded by John Wright to table this request for further study. Motion carried. FO TO MARK INC. Foto Mark Inc. submitted a request for rezoning the Lynch Property from RC to SI. It was moved by John Wright and seconded by Ralph Nesbitt to re- ceive the request and set a hearing for June 1, 1965 and at the same time, hold a hearing on the balance of the land in this area bordered by Old #5, New #5, 494 and 169.
