The Zoning & Planning Commission met on February 2, 1965 in the Village
Hall at 8 o'clock p. m.
Present were:

MINUTES
A motion was made by Anthony Hirt and seconded by David Dale to approve
W minutes of January 5, 1965 with the following correction:

0 A motion was made by Dr. Wright and seconded by Athony Hirt to table this
0 matter for further study.

HIGHWAY 169
Mr. Hawkes reported on the progress with the Highway Department. It appears
we will get some of the required exits and that the Highway Department is ready
to act on purchase of land for 169 this summer if we do not delay their work.
A motion was made by Dr. Wright and seconded by Cecil Cruse to recommend
approval of diamond on Highway 5 at Scenic Heights Road with consideration of
an alternate at 169 and Scenic Heights Road.
Motion carried.
DVORAK PROPERTY - MASON & CARTER
Information was not complete on this so no action was taken at this time.
CLIFF HENRY PROPERTY
( Mr. Henry came in for rezoning for platting. A motion was made by Anthony
Hirt and seconded by David Dale to table for 30 days.
Motion carried.
ORLAN NARR
A request was made for a Special Use permit on Parcel 9 east of Research
Road on Starring Lake.
A motion was made by Anthony Hirt .and seconded by David Dale to recommend

TRAILER COURT
A motion was made by Dr. Wright and seconded by David Dale to deny the
request of Southwest Land Corporation for a trailer court in the Village of
Eden Prairie as the zoning ordinance does not allow.
Motion carried.
PLATTING ORDINANCE
A motion was made by Anthony Hirt and seconded by Cecil Cruse to request
the Council to meet in joint session with the Zoning & Platting Commission on
February 20, 1965 at 1 p. m. in the Village Hall to go through the proposed
platting ordinance.
Motion carried.
HAROLD KNUTSON
Mr. Knutson does not have enough land to make three - one acre lots. He
was advised to -have a Registered Land Survey making two lots, both over 40,000
square feet' and the permit will be recommended.
ERNIE LARSON
A request was made for information on a lot for his son on this property.
He was advised to work with Mr. Wood in getting this -set up.
FRANK H OLASEK
Mr. Holasek requested advice on selling part of his farm along Holly Road
next to Kings Forest for 1 or more homes. He was advised to work with Mr. Wood
on requests for building, etc.
