The Eden Prairie Zoning & Planning Commission met in the village
Hall on 16 November, 1965, at 8:00 P. M.
Present were:
James C. Brown, Clerk Cecil C. Cruse
Dr, John H. Wright David W. Dale
ORDER OF BUSINESS:
MINUTES
Motion made by David W. Dale and seconded by Dr. John H,
Wright to approve minutes of 2 November, 1965, with the follow-
ing corrections: On the Bartz Request - Five (5) persons appear-
ed; four (4) objecting, one (1) no opinion.
Motion carried.
HEARING - JOHN TEMAN-FEEDERS, INC.
Notice of hearing sent to 22 property holders, list attach-
ed, The following appeared: Mr. &,Mrs. R. R. Mooiman, Rosemont
Engineering Co., Mr, & Mrs, R. J. 08Brien, Mrs T. Madland, Mr.
R. J, C]a rk, Mr. & Mrs..]S. M. Tebben, Mr. K. Anderson. Representa-
tives of the petitioners did not appear. Questions were brought
up on this property as to what use required this rezoning at this
time. Mr. Hawks reported this area should be considered for S-I
but requires special study due to the munber of existing residents
in the area. In rezoning you have to consider the ultimate use of
the area and the existing use and how this can be phased from one
use to another.
Motion made by Cecil C. Cruse and seconded by David W. Dale
to recommend deniel of the rezoning request at this time for the
following reasons. No plans for the area, no requirement for its
being rezoned at this time, does not agree with planners report
for the area.
Motion carried.
KEIZH BARTZ
Motion made by David W. Dale and seconded by Dr. John H. Wright
to remove from table.
Dr. Wrights proposals for operation were gone over by-sthe
Board and acceltable to Mr. Bartz.
Motion made by Dr. John H. Wright recommending issuing a Special
Use Permit to operate and grant building permit with conditions of
use as submitted by Dr. John H. Wright,
Denied for lack of second.
Motion made by David W. Dale and seconded by Cecil C. Cruse to
recommend denying thenbuilding permit, Aye - Dale, Brown, Nay - fright
Motion carried.

Motion made by David W. Dale and seconded by Dr. John H.
Wright to recommend granting a Special Use Permit for the opera-
tion as is, with Dr. Wright's conditions included. Aye - Wright,
Dale, and Brown; Nay - Cruse,
Motion carried.
PONDEROSA BUILDERS
Motion made by Dr. John H. Wright and seconded by Cecil
C. Cruse to accept Planning Plat of Ponderosa Hills for Engin-
eers' study and report.
Motion carried.
