The Zoning & Planning Commission met in the Eden Prairie Village
Hall on 19 October, 1965, at 8 o'clock P, M.
Present were:
Arthur W. Killer, Chairman Dr. John H. Wright
Anthony R. Hirt David W. Dale
James C. Brown, Clerk Quentin K. Wood, APTJ

Motion made by Anthony R. Hirt and seconded by David W. Dale
to approve minutes of 5 October, 1965, as published.
Motion carried.
S TREE T NqUCS
Mr. Bren and Mr. Nhitmer appeared with pro'^lems involved in
street names for the Village. The Village now is completely
numbered,and T.,,e find the sane road changing names without any
rhyme or reason.
Motion made by David Td. Da1e and seconded by Anthony R. Hirt
to accept the map for study.
Motion carried.
GENE RE= - M. B. MGEN CO.
Representing W. J. Bren Estate. Tice. Reilly requested the
Board's opinion on the Bren property south of Old 5 and north of
Anderson Lake. Mro. Les Blacklock appeared and asked if he
could intergect a statement - this was allowed. Yr. Blacklock
stated the County Park Reserve District was looking at this area
along with all property northwest and south of Anderson Lake and as
much of the east as possible as there was a Federal Grant involved
the Park Reserve District would make a final discussion within
two weeks. Mr. Reilly said he would wait and contact the Park
Reserve District, No action taken.
KEITrI D. BARTZ
Request for budding pei^mit for Riding arena. Mr. Brown
stated there were three (3) alternatives for the Zoning Board.
1. Denying the permit; 2. Recommend re-zoning; 3. Recommend
Special Use permit. the Board was reminded that a special use
Permit could not be withdrawn at the whim of an individual but
only jbsr violation of the terms of the permit.

recommending to Council issuance of a Special Use Permit for the
building Bf a riding academy. Dr. T•7j;-,i.ght to work out details on
sanitation, Rodent control, insect control, animal control, before
presenting to Council.

to recommend re-zoning as requested to IW,
3, Wheaton - Momas Land - northeast area of 494-169 interchange
bordered by 494-169-CSAH60 from RA to C-2 & RC.
Motion made by Dr. John H. T;Tright and seconded by Anthony R.
Hirt to recommend approval of re-zoning to C-2. Mote: Can not zone
'noth C-2 "c RC if area for RC can be defined this can be re-zoned at
a later da J-e.
(Motion carried.
4. A7iller property requested by 17iller Bros. on Parcels 2000,
82302 5820, 5830, 5000, 5810, 6200, in Section 17 from I-i-1, POC, RC,
R-2, C-1, to C-2.
