Planning Commission - 12/03/1963 December 3, 1963 The Eden Prairie Zoning & Planning Commission met in the Eden Prairie High School December 3, 1963 at 8 o'clock p. m. Present were: A. W. Miller, Chairman Anthony Hirt Henry Schutrop Al Bruce Ralph Nesbitt Dr. John H. Wright Albert Picha ORDER OF BUSINESS: MINUTES The minutes of the November 5, 1963 meeting were read by Anthony Hirt and approved as read. OVERMAN HEARING A motion was made and seconded that the hearing date for the re-zoning of the Overman property from 1 acre RA to 1/2 acre R1 will be the next regular meeting unless a special meeting is held in Janaury, that date may be authorized for this hearing also. Motion carried. REESE, SCROGGINS & THOMPSON PROPERTY A motion was made by Ralph Nesbitt and seconded by HenrySchutrop that Attorney Perbix be requested to determine if 19 lots on the takLL shore of Bryant's Long Lake have been re-zoned from P.O.C. to RA since November of 1959. This is property of Reese, Scroggins & Thompson. Motion carried. A preliminary plat for the above Bryant lakeshore acres was submitted by Mr. Scroggins with discussion held on outlots. The consensus of the Commission is that present areas shown as "Commons", "Park" and other designations shall acquire lot numbers. Discussion was held on re-zoning of land for Cross-Roads, Inc. A motion was made by Anthony Hirt and seconded by Al Bruce to re-convene official hearing on this re-zoning at the next regular meeting and all parties including the Highway Department be notified. Motion carried. A motion was made by Henry Schutrop and seconded by Al Bruce that Attorney Perbix furnish an opinion whether the two parcels for the above hearing covered by one published notice can be acted upon seperately. Motion carried. . December 3, 1963 (Page 2) RE-ZONING - ERNEST PEARSON A motion was made by Anthony Hirt and seconded by Al Bruce that the re-zoning application of Ernest Pearson be accepted. Motion carried. as) EARL SMITH - GARAGE PERMIT w A motion was made by Anthony Hirt and seconded by Ralph Nesbitt that 01 Earl Smith, Route 1, Box 89, Hopkins be granted a permit for a temporary garage.
