Planning Commission - 09/18/1963 - Special September 18, 1963
A special meeting of the Zoning & Planning Commission and the Village
Council was held in room 308 in the Eden Prairie High School at 8 o'clock
P. M. on September 18, 1963.
Present were:
Donald Rogers, Mayor Amer E. Clark, Clerk
Al Btuce, Trustee A. W. Miller, Chairmen
Al Bren, Trustee Anthony Hirt
Kenneth Anderson, Trustee F. G. Holasek
ORDER OF BUSINESS:
HIGHWAY ACCESSES
This meeting was called for the purpose of interviewing the State
Highway Engineers in regard to certain accesses to the new freeways and
Cross Town Road #65. Mr. Crawford and Mr. McDole were present. Requests
were made and the State Engineers agreed to do all they can to benefit
the Village of Eden Prairie traffic problems and submit further information
for the September 25, 1963 meeting.
A motion was made and seconded that the Village Council approve the
following State Highway Projects:

. #278556 Planting Trees and Shrubs along #494

RE-ZONING - SCHULTZ & JAMES PROPERTY
Mr. Schultz and Mr. Jars submitted a petition for re-zoning a part of
NE 1/4 of NW 1/4 of Section 16, Township 116, Range 22 from R2 District to
Cl District. The petition was recommended for publication. A check for
$85.00 was received by the clerk.
A motion was duly made and seconded that the Village Council approve
the agreement between Mr. James, Mr. Schultz and the J. V. Gleason Co. for
the removal of gravel deposits from their property for the purpose of fill-
ing low spots be granted on condition of approval of the Village Attorney
and posting of a $3,000.00 bond.
Motion carried.
KRAEMER
Mr. & Mrs. Kraemer appeared in regard to assessments and dirt piled on
their property. The matter was satisfactorily agreed upon by both parties.
