Planning Commission - 04/04/1963 April 4, 1963 The Zoning Board and Planning Commission met April 4, 1963 in room 308 in the Eden Prairie School at 8:00 o*clock P.M. Present were: A. W. Miller, Chairman Albert Bruce Tony Hirt F. G. Holasek Albert Picha Ralph Nesbitt Henry Schutrop Elmer E. Clark Archie Carter, Engineer ORDER OF BUSINESS: The chairman, Mr. Miller called the meeting to order, minutes were read and after a correction was made were approved. ABRAHAMS . A motion was duly made and seconded that his request in regard to building on his 3 3/4 acre tract be tabled until it is known whether the property is listed on tax rolls as a plat or parcel prior to 1958. Motion carried. BREDE SIGN A motion was duly made and seconded that the Brede Sign Co. be given approval to move a sign they have on Wheaton*s property on Hiway #169 and River Road back 100 feet on the River Road. The company has a lease until 1964. Motion carried. , WICKHOLT A motion was duly made and seconded that Mr. Wickholt's plat in Starring Addition on County Road #1 be recommended with maximum of seven (7) lots. Motion carried. RE-ZONING - KOCOUREK A motion was made and seconded that the application of Mr. Kocourek for the re-zoning of his 15 acres from POC District to M2 District be accepted. The land is located on Highway 101 and the first to be in or near our industrial area. A check for $85.00 has been received. Motion carried. April 4, 1963 (Page 2) RE-ZONING - SHIDLA A motion was made and seconded that Mr. James Shidla's application for re-zoning his property from RI to Cl be accepted and recommended for re-zoning. Property is on the corner of County Road #4 and Hiway #5. A check for $85.00 has been received. Motion carried. INDUSTRIAL ROAD A motion was duly made and seconded that engineer, Carter look into the status of Industrial Road in the addition on County Road #67. Motion carried. TRAILER PERMIT - POKORNY • A motion was made and seconded that the Zoning Board authorize a special use permit to Harold Simmonson for 90 days to live in a trailer on Pokorny's farm located on Shady Oak Road. Motion carried. WOODWARD Mr. Woodward appeared with a party wishing to purchase his 15 acres. They plan on using the property for a bowling alley approximately $200,000 in cost. This property is on Highway #5, 1100 feet west of County Road #18 and adjoining the new Telephone Building which was re-zoned for that company. The matter was referred to Mr. I. S.
