Meeting called to order by the chairman at
8:00pm.January 3,I96I. Minutes of the previous meeting were un-
amanimously approved as read.
Mr. and mrs.McKinley appeared with a plat
McKinley___Firet. Addition for approval.No read into or around the
rear of the property was indicated on the plat; no action was
taken until roadways were clarified by owners.
Mr. Carter again brot up the research road
project,presenting the offer of Harold Zell; to donate necessary
land for road. After some discussion,motion was made by Holasek
that we recommend to the town board, that they accept offer by
Harold Zell to provide right-of-way for relocation, of eesearch road, on
the high land on his property; motion seconded by Nesbitt,
unanimously approved.
Mr. McDaniel, representing N.S.P.Co. again
presented the possible routes for their high-line thru Eden Prairie.
After some discussion motion wsa called for by the chairman;
R.Nesbitt, moved that the project follow along property lines as
close as possible, and cross the Minnesota river in a northerly
and southerly direction; that they re-consider the right of way
along the Mpls.Northfield and Southern R.R., and also highway#Ie,
and by the route east of Flying Cloud field, which would hurt the
least amount of property owners; seconded by F.Holasek; unanimously
approved. There being no further business, meeting was adjourned
at ten thirty I0:30 pm.
