ZONING ORDINANCE
e C, m—ssion studied the present zoning map of the Village in relation
to the Comprehensive Guide Plan in view of changes to be made in zoning
in order to implement the Guide Plan. Criteria was developed for testing
the classification which is presently in effect and in relation to the
Plan and action to be taken.
Generally, land which is presently zoned and not developed and on which
the zoning is in conflict with the Cmprehensive Guide Plan is to be put
into rural zoning. There the zoning presently in effect and the Guide Plan
were in agreement an attempt was made to classify into a comparable new zone.
• The entire Village was studied on a parcel by parcel basis and new zoning
reccar ended for each area. In the areas where there is development which
does not conform to the Comprehensive Guide Plan the new zoning will also be
rural. This will allow continued operation as non conforming use and the
opportunity to seek zoning at a later date as the rural zoning is not
contemplated as permanent.
A special meeting will be held on June 23rd at 7:30 P.M. to further
evaluate the proposed zoning map.
The meeting adjourned at 10:25 P.M.
