The meeting was called to order at 7:30 P.M. by Chairman Odmor Skjelbostad.
Members present: Chairman Odmor Skjelbostad, Vernon Emerson, Hamer Raguet,
Henry Hauser, Marvin LaGrow, and Warren Shultz. George C. Hite, Village
Manager.

The minutes of April 1, 1969 were read and approved as published.
II. PETI-LIONS, REQUESTS AND COE4JNICATIONS
A. Metropolitan Council. Comprehensive Guide Plan Review.
Mr. George Hite reviewed the Metro Council Staff Analysis on the Eden
Prairie Comprehensive Guide Plan.
B. Rolf E. Haugen. "The Question of Lot Size"
The Question of Lot Size m orandum from Rolf Haugen was studied by
the Commission. Motion by Warren Shultz that the Commission recomrmned
to the Council that the minimum lot size be 13,500 square feet and the
minimum width be 90 feet, second by Henry Hauser. The motion passed
unanimously.
• III. RECUT-INDATIONS AND REPORT'S
A. Monier Property - Br e-Eggan Sketch Plan. Homeward Hills Road.
The Commission reviewed the sketch plat of Brekke-Eggan proposed on
Homeward Hills Road.
B. Herleiu Industrial Park Sketch Plan. Washington Avenue at Valley View
Road.
The Commission reviewed the proposal of 11r. Herlieu Helle for an Industrial
Park on Washington Avenue, south of Valley View Road. Moved by Vernon
Emerson, second by Marvin LaGrow that the Commission recommend to the
Council the approval of the sketch as a preliminary plat. Potion carried.
C. Highway 169, County Road 18 to Interstate 494. Layout Approval.
Mr. George Hite reviewed the Highway Departments proposal for T.H. 169 fran
18 to 494 and recommended that the plan be approved with the stipulation
that the Highway Department maintain ownership of land acquired between the
present right-of-way and the new right-of-way and that proposed loops A and
B be temporary until such time as interchanges are constructed to the north
and west. Moved by Vernon Emerson, second by Henry Hauser to recommend to
the Council 8 H with the foregoing stipulations.
D. Kings Forest Area School - Park Site Analysis Report.
The Commission was presented with the Park-School Analysis for the
Kings Forest Area and the recommendations for acquisition of property
in the area.
