III. REPORTS AND RECOMMENDATIONS.
A. Hikeway/Bikeway Task Force Report, discussion of the Hikeway/Bikeway Task
Force Report presented at the December 9th meeting. Summary of important points
attached.
Action: recommend approval to the City Council of the Hikeway/Bikeway Task Force
Report as City guidelines in the development of a Hilaway/Bikeway system,
and adoption of the basic backbone corridor system for priority areas
or continute, or deny.
. 4/5 Mini-Sector Study, discussion of recommendations , alternatives, and questions
raised at the December 9th meeting.
Action: Continue until the January 19th, 1975 meeting.
C. Dietrich Co. , request for revision to the approved preliminary plat for Lake Eden
South . Staff report attached.
Action: recommend approval to the City Council of the revised plat for Outlot A,
Blocks 1-5 4.'_ :of: Lake Eden South�n)ot.continue , or deny.
D. Cedar Forest 2nd Addition, by Joe Semrad , requesting rezoning from rural to R1=22
for 34 single family lots, preliminary plat approval, and possible landhol&r. agreement.
The site is located east of Cedar Forest Ist addition and north of Riley Creek.
Action:
E. The Preserve Commercial Plan , 200 + acre concept plan for the land surrounding the
Eden Prairie Center in the MCA. Presentation�ofthe overall concept and staff review
of plan for Area F located south of 169 and the Ring Road intersection.
Action: receive for stgCly the total concept plan for the 200 acre plus area and recommend
approval for Area F's 34 acre commercial plan as modified to the City Council,
or continue, or deny; .
IV. PETITIONS AND REQUESTS.
�. Chestnut Phase III, by New Town Development, for development phase approval and
rezoning to permit medium density garden apartments ( 200 units )
Action: Continue to the January 13th Planning Commission Meeting for a staff report.
