EDEN PRAIRIE PLANNING COMMISSION
Tuesday, .January 19, 1971 7:50 P.M. , Village Hall
Members present were Chairman LaGrow, Nesbitt, Raguet, Schee.
Also present was Village Manager, George C. Hite.
I. Proposed Advertising Sign Ordinance.
Presentation by Mr. Hite of suggested changes to second draft.
Document "Suggested Changes to the proposed Advertising Sign
Ordinance 2nd Draft" dated January 19, 1971 . Mr. Bob Naegele
made some comments during discussion period. Discussion
seemded to evolve to conclusion to change schedule for amort-
ization. Motion was made by Mrs. Schee to recommend to Council
adoption of Advertising Sign Ordinance dated October 28, 1970
and second draft dated January 19,1971 with changes in Language
amortization schedule to six years from date of sign erection of
the most recent ownership change. Second by Mr. LaGrow. All
voted aye. Motion carried.

Number one priority according to Mr. Hite, is renewal of Comperhensive
Guide Plan. Possibly we should have one meeting each month for
planning and policies and the other meeting each month for reviewing
land use proposals.
