MINUTES
Tuesday, July 21 , 1970 7:40 P.M. , Village Hall
Members present were Chairman Skjelbostad, 11r. LaGrow, firs. fleyers, Mr. Raguet,
Mr. Nesbitt, firs. Schee. Also present was Village llanager George C. fli te.
I. MINUTES OF JULY 7, 1970
Motion to approve, irs. Meyers, Seconded: by Mr. Raguet. All voted aye. Motion
carried.
II. PETITIONS, REQUESTS AND COMMUNICATIONS
A. Ec�{: uunnd-Swe unu. Lot Division. Hi11crest Courts Second Addition. 1=1r. Hite
reviewed and recommended approving the division. t1r. Swed and was present to
comment and answer questions. A public easement is needed. Notion by 1-1r.
Skjelbostad to divide Lots 2 and 3, Block 3 with a 7 foot easement. Seconded by
Mrs. Schee. All voted aye. Motion carried.
B. Bor Son Inc. Notice of PUD neighborhood meeting August 3, 1970, at 7:30
Eden Prairie Presbyterian Church. Members of the Commission are urged to
attend by fir. LaGrow Chairman Pro tem.
III. RECOMMENDATIONS AND REPORTS
A. The Preserve. Planned Unit Development. Anderson Lake Area. Presentation
of Staff Report. Panning Review Report of July 9, 1970 Village of Eden Prairie.
This review recommended that the Commission approve the preliminary concept
being sent to the Council . Mr. Bonner spoke on behalf of Staff document "
Reserving a Site" defined as a necessity before the Council approve the plans.
Mr. Carter answered the Commission that this would be done. Questions from the
Commission answered by persons to whom they were directed.
If Neil Lake project is not feasible, the land involved would remain quasi-public
and at some later date may be reopened. Statement in response to questions by
Mrs. Meyers. Motion made to forward all documents which have been reviewed by
this Commission to the Council for approval of preliminary concept of the
Preserve By Pars. Schee. Seconded by Mr. LaGrow. All voted aye. Motion carried.
B. Edenvale Planned Unit Development. Eden Prairie Golf Course Area. Edenvale
PUD Eden Prairie Golf Course area Presentation of staff report. P1r Bonner spoke
for staff and document planning review report of July 9, 1970. Mr. Peterson
responded to staff report and referred to Edenvale doucment supplemental information
for Edenvale PUD application 70-4. Discussion on school site for project. Mr.
Peterson requested that a PUD approval motion include the map drawing number.
fir. Skjelbostad moved that the Commission recommend to the Council to set
hearing date for Edenvale PUD 70-4 and we would pass on additional information
received at our next Commission meeting. Seconded, by Mrs. Schee. All voted aye.
Motion carried.
