SPECIAL MEETING
EDEN PRAIRIE CITY COUNCIL
TUESDAY, JULY 26, 1977 4:30 PM, CITY HALL
COUNCIL MEMBERS: Mayor Wolfgang Penzel , Billy Bye, Joan Meyers,
Dave Osterholt and Sidney Pauly
COUNCIL STAFF PRESENT: City Manager Roger Uls tad and City Attorney
Harlan Perbix
ROLL CALL: Bye, Osterholt, Pauly and Penzel present; Meyers absent.
A special meeting of the City Council of the City of Eden Prairie was held in the
Chamber of the Council at 4:30 PM, on July 26, 1977 pursuant to call by the Mayor.
The Council was advised by the City Attorney that it was permissible to meet in a
closed meeting to discuss the legal implications of the threatened legal
litigation contained in the letter by Edenvale, Inc. , dated July 1 , 1977 addressed to
the City Attorney, copies of which have been furnished to the Council. The pros
and cons of the threatened action insofar as the City was concerned were discussed. `
No action was taken. No other items were discussed.
MOTION: Bye moved, seconded by Pauly, that these minutes become part of the
the permanent record of the City and open to the public at such time as there is
no longer any threatened or pending legal litigation involving the so-called
Golf Vista PUD.
MOTION: Meyers moved, seconded by Bye, to adjourn the meeting at 5:30 PM. Motion
carried unanimously.
