I4ayor David Osterholt called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. and the following property owners were heard: s 1. J. H. Lein, J. 11. Lein Construction Company, Plat 57031, Parcel 3200, 3686 Ridgewind Road. Property sold on June 7, 1974 for $53,374.00, assessed E. hI. V. $55,000. City Assessor agreed to reduce via change order to $51,000. Difference between selling prise and reduced value consisted of items of personalty. 2. cir. Plow.nan, 8630 Ridgewind Road, Plat 57031, Parcel 3300. Purchased property in May, 1974 Afor $48,500, assessed E. M. V. $50,700. City assessor to review. 3. 11r. E,,-rert, Lit 1, Block 3, Iiillcrest 3rd Addition, Plat 56.36a, Parcel 3000. Purchased price $42,G53, assessed E.M.V. $41,900. City Assessor to review. 4. Mr. Harold Wordby, 8675 Ridgewind Road, Plat 57031, Parcel 2700, purchased prop-arty for $52,500, assessed E.t4.V. $51,700. Stated $4,000 for lt-er:,s of personalty to include carpeting. Stated property was a model horse and carpeting worn. Also, in items Of personalty included refrigerator, drapes, washer, and dryer, and stove. City Assessor to review. 5. fir. Pctron, 14240 Chestnut Drive, Atherton 3rd Addition, quest- ionned Assessed E.M.V of $10,500 i.e. $3,000 lot value, $7,500 on partial % of construction. Contractor, Doug Johnson told o%.,ners it should be $4,500 lot value, plus partial on .foundation as a total of $7,500. City Assessor to check City building records. 6. i?r. Due to the foregoing mentioned property uwr,ers requesting a review of their valuations, the Board of Review i,�a(ie a notion, by Mr. . Penzel, which was seconded by Isis. 1-Meyers, to ,reconvene at 7:15 p.m. on June 25, 1974. The motion .-.,as carried unanimously. The City Assessor was directed to review tl�ie properties and report his findings to the property owners.
