City Council - 05/01/1967 - Special Meeting SPEC_AL COUNCIL MEETING 1 May, 1967
The meetinZ was called by Mayor Osterholt at 9:00 p.m.
PRESENT WERE:
David W. Osterholt, Mayor Arthur W. Miller
James C. Brown, Clerk Paul R. Redpath
Alvin J. Bren
Mayor Osterholt stated that the meeting was called for the purpose of
authorizing the Fire Chief, the Assistant Fire Chief, and one fireman
to attend the State Fire School held by the State of Minnesota League of
Municipalities in the University of Minnesota ac the State Fair Grounds
and to authorize the Village to pay the lost wages to those who occur
lost wages. He stated that under the set-up of the school as an official
school of the League of Municipalities, the State Statutes authorize the
Village to send individuals to this school and pay them for their lost s
time on their regular job. i
A motion was mace by Alvin Bren, seconded by Arthur hiller to pay the
registration fee and lost wages for Raymond Mitchell, David Anderson,
and Robert H. Brown to attend the State Fire School of May 1, 2, and 3,
1967.
The motion carried.
This being the only item for this meeting , the meeting then adjourned
at 9:10 p.m.
