Council Meeting 26 January, 1966 (1-18-66) FOREST KNOLLS -- JOE SEMRAD Went thru reading of new contract with Mr. Perbix, The basic contract was acceptable and Mr. Perbix was instructed along with Mr. Wood to complete the contract and have it ready for 8 February, 1966, meeting. (1-22-66) SCHOOL CHILDREN"S SHELTERS, INC. Mr. Perbix reported that if the sign was under 16 square feet there was no charge, if over 16 feet the fee would apply. Mr Anthony had proposed to have the signs reduced, Mr. Perbix was to contact Mr. Anthony on this point, if signs are reduced would not require changing Ordinance. (1-23-66) LAYOUT 8C REVISED See minutes of 18 January, 1966, Joint meeting with Planning & Zoning Commission and Council . Motion made by Kenneth E. Anderson and seconded by A. W. Miller to adopt Resolution approving Layout 8C Revised. Motion carried. (1-26-66) BREN ROAD Mr. Perbix reported all persons involved had met in his office on this road, all wanted the present 2 Rod road ?eft as is. Motion made by Kenneth E. Anderson and seconded by A. W. Miller Village to accept Deeds to establish a 33 foot road for Bryant Lane (formerly F. E. Bren Road) with a turn around at easterly end 1477 feet from Shady Oak Road. Motion carried. (1-26-66 Motion made by A. W. Miller and seconded by Kenneth E. Anderson to instruct attorney to prepare an Ordinance to maintain building on Bryant Lane 80 feet from the Centerline of the road. Motion carried. (1-27-66) MR. WHITMER Mr. Whitmer requested that his request for a salary increase be continued until 8 February, 19660 this was agreeable to the Council. (1-8-66) A_NN UAL AUDIT 41r. Perbix presented form to request examination by State: Public examiner. Motion made by Kenneth E.AYiderson and seconded by Alvin J. Bren to request the Public Examiner Audit our 1965 records except that portion covered by Gron- vall & Mittons. Motion carried. (-32-66) REPORT ON DRAINAGE STUDY l Report by Quentin K. Wood and Rieke-Carroll attached. Report by Jim Hawkes, Midwest Planning attached. Mr. Wood and Mr. Muller of Rieke-Carroll elaborated on the report and the need for a 2 foot contour to provide drainage information. Mr. Duller has to be in Chicago on February 3 &4 on other business and requested permission to contact HHFA on this matter also if he can arrange for Mr. Wood to make the trip at no expense to the Village if he also could go. i ag i Council Meeting 26 January, 1966 j i O (1-32-66) REPORT ON DRAINAGE STUDY (CONTINUED) Permission for Mr. Muller to contact HHFA granted -- no action on Mr. Wood attending at this time. (1-D-66) ADDITIONAL PHONE Clerk Brown reported a drop in phone bill of $10.00 per month and requested two additional phones, one on the Building Inspector's desk and one on Mayor, Clerks, desk to cost $ 5.10 per month. Motion made by A. W. Miller and seconded by Kenneth E. Anderson to have the phones installed. Motion carried. (I-E-66) JOINT MEETING Motion made by Alvin J. Bren and seconded by A. W. Miller to hold a joint meeting on February 10, 1966, at the Village Hall with the Village Council, Village Planning & Zoning Board, Village Park & Recreation Commission and Eden Prairie School Board.
