at 8:00 P. M.

Interchange committee.
Motion made by Kenneth E. Anderson and seconded by Alvin J.
Bren to receive report of Interchange Committee and have Clerk read
}" same.
Motion carried.
HEARING OF REZONING REQUESTED
o By Security Advisors for Wheaton-Thomas Property and G. P.
= Schoenfelder on Augest Kaiser Property. Approximately 70 persons
attended this hearing. Official notice was published in the official
paper and a list of the person's who were sent notices of the hearing
along with notes from the hearing and the appUeation for rezoning
are on file im Hearing File No, 1.
Motion made by James C. Brown and seconded by Alvin J. Brea to
adopt Ordinance No. to rezone the tract known in the application
as the Wheaton-Thomas-15roperty fron RA to C2.
Motion carried.
Mayor Rogers turned the chair over to acting Mayor Bran and acting
then as a member of the Council made the following motion.
Motion made by Donald A. Rogers and seconded by James C. Brown
to rezone the tract known in the application as the Kaiser Property
according to the reeomendations made by Mr. Hawkes of Midwest Plan-
ning and to inAtruet the attorney to draft an Ordinance.
Yea: Rogers, Brown. Nay: Miller,, Anderson, Bran
Motion defeated.
Acting Yayor Bran turned the chair back to Mayor Rogers and
then as a member of the Council made the following motion. !
Motion made by Alvin J. Bran and seconded by Kenneth E. Ardor-
son to rezone the tract known in the application as the Kaiser Prop-
arty as requested in the application and to instrnet the attorney to

draft an Ordinance rezoning all the lane East of Highway 160 C-2
and all the land west of Highway 169 R-C as pertains to the Kaiser
Property. Rogers abstained
Motion carried.
KEITH JAMES '
Re e Request by letter to fill part of htZ..s property with material
from the area presently being mined for gravel.and to allow him to
go to a lower alevation than presently in the contract. Copy of
letter attached.
Motion made by Alvin J. Bren and seconded by Kenneth E. Ander-
son to grant permission to Keith James to level to elevation 874
on his property and fill the low area.
Motion carried.
WHEA TDN-THOMAS
Request for rezoning S. E. gradient of 494-169 Interchange.
Motion made by Alvin J. Bren and seconded by Kenneth E. Ander-
son to request the Planning Commission to set and hold a hearing
per their original. petition.
PUBLIC HEARINGS Motion carried.
Motion made by Kenneth E. Anderson and second by Alvin J. Bren
to suggest to the Planning Commission to consider a change to Ordin-
ance No. 8 to hold only one (1) public hearing and to make their re:
eemmendatian to the Council.

Motion made by A, W. Miller and seconded by Kenneth E. Anderson
to authorize Q. K. Wood toattend a Bituminous Conference on 1 Dec.,
1965, and a Concrete and Sewer Conference on 10 December, 1965.
