Report b'v Inspector Arnold on the Hennepin County Sheriff doing
the police protection for the Village of Eden Prairie - cost pro-
posal (attached) showing 1, 2 and 3 shifts per day costs. This would
be a ,yearly contra^t, shifts could be changed during the year., the
entire County Sheriff's System at our disposal if required, this
information Haas requested so that we could budget for it if we so
decided to tzse the service. No action taken as this to be discussed
4',7rther in our budget sessions.

he will now work up the information for a public hearing to be held
in J:nuary or February ?f 1966.
