Y,iller to approve vouchers #2542 through #2596 for payment. k r notion carried. RIY STODOLA i Reported on the culvert problem in Scenic Heights Addition and lie and Mr. }.food were instructed to try and work it out. Requested $70.00 for a new radiator for the small Ford Truck. It was moved by Alvin J. Bren and seconded by Kenneth E. Anderson to authorize expenditure up to $70.00 for a new radiator for the 159 Ford truck. I Notion carried. AERODYNE Mr. Sarels, representing Aerodyne, rer,uested reduction of dust and noise .from Northern Contractin Black Top Plant, Mr, Pausc-1, owner of Aerodyne., reported loss of hearing due to the noise. Mr. Wood reported HIr. George Rashka of the Minnesota Department of Health had visited the plant with him. Mr. Rashka felt the plant needed a wet collector and that the noise level was not excessive. Mr. Cruse of Northern Contracting stated they had ordered a wet collector and that they would contact the manufacturer re- garding the noise of the burner. DURY & CA USOtit x Jim Bury, John Lund, and Jerry Leibsch - request for mining license on the Peters' property. It was :roved by Alvin J. Bren and seconded by A. W. Miller to ar,prove the application, authorize the attorney and engineer to draw up an approved contract with the bond at K10,000.00 and authorize ..he Mayor and Clerk to sign the con- tract :,hen approved by the Attorney and a=.ithoriae the Clerk to issue a license for the balan-e of 1965. Motion carried. XMI T UYFR Request for increase on variance for barn from; 265 feet to 220 feet due to incorrect measuring on first request. It was moved by Kenneth E. Anderson and seconded by Alvin J. Bren to grant an additional variance to 220 feet for Mr. grayer to build a horse barn on his property. Motion carried. NiZ3. ALYU GOOD Mrs. Good requested relief from a spraying bill of October 10, 1961, from Jacic Young; whi.ciz had not been paid and is now on tax sta.ement as a lien against her property. It was moved by Alvin J. Bren and seconded by Xenneth E. Anderson to abate the assessment for spraying in Plat 56728, Parcel 6420 with 14rs. Good to reimburse the Village for the interest. FE41 E- II1T CUT1,11 L'Y ;;Ur,374G DTSTRICT 1 A Contract for 1966, It was moved by Alvin J. Bren and seconded by A. W, Yiller to approve Resolution #1002 contract For 1966. Motion carried. HOPKINS FIRE DEPARMNT CONTRACT Contract with Hopkins Fire Department for the northeast section of the Village. ° It was moved by Alvin J. Bren and seconded by Kenneth E. Anderson to renew the contract for fire protection with the City of Hopkins and authorize the Mayor & Clerk to sign. Motion carried. .BUDGE T Items to be considered for next years' budget. Police protection, dog control, planning services, park improvements, consultin.7 services, road improvements. Mr. Norman yarson is to have a resort on the cost of better police protection. For balance of Near road crew to old to 4!3 hours weekly., all expenditures should be approved in advance. Emergency work only on approval of the Council, the request for tennis court for Sterling Field was tabled; as the bids to the Village exceeded the iA.0OO.00 figure. Mr. Vier Wood, Superintendent of Eden Prairie School presented ideas for bus gara e - no action -,,as taken until plans are " for approval.
