Present were: Donald A. Rogers, Mayor A. W. Miller Kenneth E. Anderson James C. Brown, Clerk W. Harlan Pe rbix, Atty. Alvin J. Bren ; Quentin K. E W cn Motion carried. µ- NO RTH'r:ES TE RN BELL Mr, Broshar, Mr. Ringgenberg, and Mr. Smith representing North- 1 Dwestern Bell presented information on the new rates for the Eden Prairie 17;:: area, how they are arrived at and the problems involved in charging 0 service rates etc. Reverend Emerson, Yr. Osterholt, Ms. Butter and Mr. 0 Anderson four the Eden Prairie Presbyterian Church were present; Rev. 1.0 Emerson read a statement on his problem regarding rates, service and ability to pay for telephone, He did not favor the Village with a copy of this statement; Mayor Rogers made a statement that when churches, clubs, service groups or ar;y organization has a meeting from which evolves a problem that the Village Council should be informed of if they would put this in a ].,-�t er to the Council and send it to the Clerk it would be brought up at the next meeting as the Council. can only act when it has been ldvised. Miller to instruct the Clerk to write a letter to Mr. Grill annroving request for this develo-ment on Parcel 5020, Section 27, Village of Eden Prairie. Motion carried. S'fER?,TNG FIELD A Rf{ Mr. Wood had not received bids to the Village. It was moved by Alvin J. Bren and seconded by James C. Brown to go ahead with getting bids etc. and approved the expenditure of not to exceed �1,000.00 for tennis courts in Sterling Field pro- vided half of the cost be deposited by the Sterling Field a.sociation y prior to construction. i i Motion carried. i KINGSTON DRIVE VACA'rT N i It was moved by Kenneth E.
