The Council net in the Village Hall on March 2!., 1965 at 8 o'clock P. M.
Present were:

ORDER OF BUSINESS :
MIND IES
A motion was made by Alvin Bren and seconded by James Brown to approve
the minutes of the March 9th meeting as published.
Motion carried.
VO UC HERS
It was moved by Al-.rin Bren and seconded by James Brown to approve
Vouchers #2226 through #2231 for payment.

NOTTINGHAM FOREST
Mr. Quentin Wood reported that Mr. Archie Carter had requested that
the escrow money be held up pending completion of the drainage problem.

It was moved by Alvin Bren and seconded by James Brown to table any
action on this for 60 days.

GUN PERMITS (SHOOTING) a

It was moved by James Brown and seconded by Alvin Bren to charge a fee f
of 1�1.00 for each permit issued under Ordinance #55.
Motion carried.
SNOW PLOWING
There had been reports that the Village Hall was receiving requests
for special attention on snow plowing. The Council felt that the crew did
an excellent ,fob on snow plowing. They could not plow all driveways and
they did not deliberately knock down mail boxes. Several people in the
audience felt the same way and expressed approval.
SUNSET RIDGE
Mr. Seltz appeared requesting release of escrow money which is being 1
held pending spring break-up. Mr. Wood is to report on the drainage into
the sump as soon as it is practical.

DOGS
Fourteen individuals spoke for and against dog control from full
leashing to complete freedom. Mr. Perbix is to look into an ordinance
from Albert Lea and Mr. Wood is to gather information on enforcement
costs and requirements.
It was moved by Mr. Alvin Bran and seconded by Mr. Albert Bruce
to table any action until the first meeting in April.
Motion carried.
TYPEWRITER
A quotation from Hopkins Typewriter Sales for leasing or sale was

received. James Brown is to get further bids for the next meeting.
ANNUAL AUDIT
_ It was moved by Kenneth Anderson and seconded by Alvin Bran to mare
Mr. Mitton's letter of March 16, 1965 a part of -the Annual Audit. This
letter agreed with the information the Clerk had found.
MIDWEST PLANNING & RESEARCH
Mr. Hawkes complied and furnished an itemized statement for Voucher
#2028.
It was moved by Alvin Bran and seconded by Kenneth Anderson to pay
Voucher #2028.
Motion carried.
ALBERT L. BRUCE, JR.
James Brown read the letter of resignation received from Mr. Bruce. It
was moved by Kenneth Anderson and seconded by Alvin Bran to regretfully accept
Albert 1. Bruce, Jr. is resignation from the Eden Prairie Village Council
effective April 1. 1965.
