City Council - 04/29/1964 - Village Meeting April 29, 1964
The Village Counci.1 met in room 308 in the Eden Prairie High School
on April 29, 1964 at 8 o'clock p. m.
Present were:
Donald A. Rogers, Mayor James C. Brown, Clerk
Kenneth E. Anderson, Trustee Rolf E. Haugen, Treasurer
Albert L. Bruce, Trustee Edna 11. Holmgren, Secy.
Alvin J. Bren, Trustee Archie Carter, Engineer
ORDER OF BUSINESS:
MINUTES
A motion was made by Kenneth Anderson and seconded by Alvin Bren to accept
the minutes of the April 14th meeting as written.
Motion carried.
CHAR-LYNN
A motion was ode by Kenneth Anderson and seconded by Alvin Bren to approve
plat plan for Char-Lynn.
Motion carried.
ANTHOyY HIRT-BIRCH IS` PLAT
A motion was made by Kenneth Anderson and seconded by Alvin Bren to accept
change of lot lines on lots 11, 12 and 13 in Birch Island Acres plat.
Motion carried.
ROADSIDE BETTERMENT RESOLUTION #80
A motion was made by Kenneth Anderson and seconded by Alvin Bren to adopt
Resolution #80,Pro ject 1494.E (64) 224 for Roadside Betterment, dated April 10,
1964.

SUNSET RIDGE-DRAINAGE PROBLEM
A motion was made by Kenneth Anderson and seconded by Alvin Bren to grant
four building permits on lots 2, 3, 17 and 18 all in block 1 subject to the
approval of the Village Engineer on completion of ponding area in lots 14, 15
and 16 and the improvement of existing drainage ditch.
2-Lotion carried,
A motion was trade by Alvin Bren and seconded by Kenneth Anderson that any other
building permits are to be held up in Sunset Ridge until drainage problems are
solved.

ELAYNE KILLS
The preliminary plat for Elayne Hills is to be returned to the developer
" for re-platting. Lots must be 150 feet wide in an RA district, was platted
in 110 foot widths.

PEA.RSON - GRAVEL PIT
A motion was made by Alvin Bren and seconded by Kenneth Anderson that if
Mr. Pearson brings in a Final topog and the Village Engineer approves, the Clerk
will issue a gravel pit permit.
Motion carried.
SEWALL ,: GRAVEL PIT
Mr. Sewall appeared for a discussion about his pit. No action was taken at
this time. a
ASSESSOR
A motion was made by Kenneth Anderson and seconded by Al Bruce to appoint
M Mrs. Evelyn Rogers as Deputy Assessor at $2.00 per hour and to furnish her car
not to exceed 100 hours.
Motion carried.
A motion was made by Alvin Bren and seconded by James Brown to increase
Assessor, L. E. Whitmer's wages to $375.00 per month and increase his car allowance
to $50.00 per month.
Motion carried.
