City Council - 04/04/1964 - Village Meeting April 4, 1964
The Village Council and the Zoning & Planning Commission met on Saturday
morning at 10 o•clock a. m. on April 4. 1964.
Present were:

James C. Brown, Clerk David W. Dale
ORDER OF BUSINESS:
SUNSET RIDGE
Pictures were received into the records to be filed in Sunset Ridge file.
These pictures were taken on March 13, 1964 showing water standing in the area.
HENNEPIN COUNTY MUNICIPAL COURT
Mr. Roger Newstrum of Hennepin County Budget and Purchasing Office appeared to
go over plans for Municipal Court space in the new Village Hall. He took a set of
f plans with him and requested as soon as cost of the new building is determined that
l we submit our rental fees that will be charged to the county.
NORTHERN STATES POWER CO.
Discussion was held on the Northern States Power line problem and it was
agreed that the Council has made a stand and would abide by it. Also it would
back Attorney Perbix as Village Attorney in whatever court action may be necessary.
RE-ZONING-VILLAGE
The committees presented plans for general re-zoning of certain areas of the
Village. We are to explore the prospect of bringing our zoning map up-to-date
and then making the re-zoning on a map revision basis. Additional meetings as
required will be held.

He will have a sample at the April 14th meeting for the Council to decide upon. !
