The Village Council of Eden Prairie met in room 308 of the Eden Prairie
High School August 28, 1963 at 8 o•clock P. M.

Al Bruce, Trustee Edna Holmgren, Bookkeeper
Kenneth Anderson, Trustee W. Harlan Perbix, Attorney
Archie Carter, Engineer
ORDER OF BUSINESS:
The neeting Was called to order by Acting Mayor, Bren.
BUDGETMM IM
A meeting for the purpose of setting up the 1964 budget will be held on
September 17, 1963.
STERLING FIELD
Mr. Whitehill appeared from Sterling Field requesting four signs, two Dead
End, and two, Slow. Bay Stodola was requested to investigate and report back to
the council at the next meeting on September loth.
A motion was made by Al Bruce and seconded by Kenneth Anderson to authorize
( Ray Stodola to do whatever grading or shaping is necessary in Sterling Field Park
at Village expense.
Motion carried.

PARADISE VALi.EY
A motion was made by Al Bruce and seconded by Kenneth Anderson to approve
Area "B", Resolution #60, Paradise Valley for roads contingent upon Engineer,
Carter securing a signed agreement from Herbert Mason to fulfill his obligation
bringing the subbase up to Village specifications.
Motion carried.
A motion was made by Al Brace and seconded by Kenneth Anderson accepting bid.
Resolution #61, of Black Top Service Co. upon written assurance from Herbert Mason
that preliminary Mork on road hags been done.
Motion. carried.

A motion was made by Kenneth .Anderson and seconded by Alvin Bren that the
Village Council notify the Eden Prairie School Board that they have determined no
immediate need for the road easement ru=%ing south from School Road across then
James and other property and that the easement reserve on James property be re-
leased. 3

FIRE
Attorney, Perbix presented tentative Ordfname #39 in regard to Fire Zoning.
It was turned over to Rngineer, Carter to not up zones on a sap of Bolen Prairie.

Howard Peterson appeared requesting excemption from road assessment in
Prairie Shores, Lot 1, Bloak 1, No action vas taken at this time.
