A motion was duly made by Kenneth Anderson and seconded by Alvin Bren that
the village approve the application_ of Mr. Woodward for re-zoning the North 525 R—
feet of the property contained in the Notice of Hearing and Resolution from RA dis-
trict to Cl. Mr. Woodward originally wanted it re-zoned from RA to K. Attorney,
Perbix was instructed to prepare an ordinance which will make this change. There
were 4 ;Teas and one nay.
Notion carried.
TP VIEW ACRES
Mr. E. J. Gerard presented preliminary plats on Top View Acres, 2nd and 3rd
Additions which were platted as 1/2 acre lots. His original plat which was
presented in 1957 was accepted but on account of Highway #494 running through same,
this plat had to be revised before it could be used for building purposes. There-
fore the Council accepted same as presented by Mr. Ray Read, Gerards Manager.
Central water for these plats was discussed, however the Council agreed to look
into this before the July 24th greeting.

SURPLUS VILLAGE MONIES .
t A motion was duly made and seconded that Treasurer, Mr. Rolf Haugen be
instructed to invest surplus Village monies in State of Minnesota or it's
Municipalities Bonds.
Motion carried.
COMMLTNITY WATER SYSTEMS
A long discussion was held on commun-ity water systems. A motion was duly
made and seconded that the Council make an investigation of water systems similar
to the one that Mr. Gerard has in mind. Mr. Al Bruce was appointed by Mayor,
Rogers to make the investigation.
Motion carried.
LOKEN
Mr. L. M. Loken was given permission to proceed with his plans for apartment
buildings on the corner of Highway #5 and School Road. This property is owned by
Keith James.
