City Council - 05/22/1963 - Village Meeting May 22,
1963
The village council of Eden Prairie met in room 308 in the Eden Prairie
High School May 22, 1963 at 8 o' clock P. M.
Present were:
Donald Rogers, Mayor Elmer 8. Clark, Clerk
Alvin Bren, Trustee Archie Carter, Engineer
Kenneth Anderson, Trustee W. Harlan Perbix, Attorney
ORDER OF BUSINESS:

Meeting was called to order by Mayor, Mr. Rogers.
RECREATION
Miss Linda Brekke appeared requesting assistance for the summer recreation-
al program .for the community girls. A motion was made by Alvin Bren and sec-
onded by Kenneth Anderson that approval be given for equipment in the amount
of $30.00 and $50.00 in lieu of a fund for supplies.
Motion carried.

A motion was duly made and seconded that the village council adopt
Resolution # in regard to a traffic sign on Highways #5 and #4. A copy
of the resolution is placed on file in the clerk's minutes.
Motion carried.
Mayor Rogers signed and mailed a letter to the State Highway Department
Engineer, Welch asking for, the sign and explaining hazardous crossing at this
corner.
Black Topping of streets was discussed, also purchase of gravel for the
village.
Yx. Art troller gave a report on the meeting with the Edina. Richfield,
and Bloomington Councils which he and Ralph Nesbitt attended.
Mr. Carter was asked to investigate the escrow deal with Olson and
Anderson and Hussman and report his findings.
