A special meeting of the village council was held February 27. 1963 in
room. 308 of the Eden Prairie High School at 8 o'clock P.M.
Present were:
Donald Rogers, Mayor Ebner E. Clark, Clerk
Al Bruce, Trustee Archie Carter, Engineer
Alvin Bren, Trustee W. Harlan Perbix, Attorney
Kenneth Anderson, Trustee
Several Visitors
ORDER OF BUSINESS:
Lorman Jarrett was heard in regard to blacktopping streets on Luthern
Church road. Mr. Engelland also was heard representing the church. The matter
was left for mutual settlement.
Mr. Zane Mann discussed financial problems, subject was tabled until one
other company is interviewed.
A motion was made and seconded that the village council approve the
transfer of $13,885.85 from the General Fund to the Street Fund to cover the
r deficit as of December 31, 1962.
Motion carried.
A motion was made and seconded that the question of whether or not a
permit be issued for a building on Lot $1 in Padon Downs be referred to
Archie Carter, Town Engineer For advice on minimum lot size and basement water.
Motion carried.
The council is to meet at Padon Downs to view Out Lot #1 at 10:30 A. M.
Saturday March 2, 1963 in regard to issuing a building permit.
The council is to meet at Prairie Motel on Friday March 1st at 12:30 P.M.
with a union representative.
A motion was made and seconded that the council purchase a table for the
new office in room 308 of the High School for $205.00.
Motion carried.
Meeting adjourned at 11:30 P.M.
