A SIECIAL ELIZTIUN was held. in the Town of Eden rrairie on
(),TuBLi, 6th 1962 between the hours of 8 A hi anci 8 r X. for the
purpose of voting on the question of whether the Town of Eden Prairie
should becom a VILLAGE.
THE Ballots read as follows:
FOR INCORPORATION
AGainst INCOROI-ATION
There were 691 Ballots cast and counted and the results
wereas follows:
611 for inceropati on
79 against I nc oropati on
1 Blank Ballot
The Judges A. IV. Miller,, F. G. Holasek and Clavin Anderson
declared the ELWTION Carried in favor of INCORL,ORATION.

The REGULAR MONTHLY BOARD Meeting was held at the American Legion
Hall at 8 o'clock l, . M. Present ALVin J. Bren Chairmant Donald ,
X Rogers qnd Kenneth E. Anderson Supervisors, A. -A. Miller Treaus er
Elmer E Clark Clerk. A few visitors and Eng. Arch.ike Carter.
The minutes of the last meeting were read and approved as read.
Inspector Lansing was hears first in regard trouble with Town
and Country Vlb. Co., after which the following Motion was made.
A MOTION was duly made and seconded thatt Plumbing License of
Town and Country Plumbing Co. be revoked and the Clerk be instructed
to notify the Company of the Boards action.
Motion carried.
A PETITION was presented to the BOAlW by the Citizens in the
a " school Addition concerning the School Road and the trouble property
try
u owners arA having in an effort to protect their children. After
considerable disscussion over the matter the following motion was made:
C3 A MOTION was duly made and seconded that the School Road be posted
c3 with a 15 mite spped limt sign and the Constables be advised of the
same. Motion carried.
Members of the F W hosti�256O appeared before the BOARD with
a map showing a proposed Road they contemplate buyin# for a Club House
to be located off of Hgy.-1401. The Zoning Board viewed the location
with the Tuwn Engineer October loth 1962 and recommended the Approval
of the project to the Town Board.
A MOTION Was duly made and seconded that the Town Board Approve
the plan for the V F W Road subject tb the Approval of i,he Town Atty.
and Town Engineer.
Motion carried
A MOTION was duly made and seconded that the TOWN BOARD accept
the Resignation of Nir. Frank Gage from the Zoning; and Manning Comm.
and. the Clerk be instructed to write a letter of appreciation for
14 years of good services and have name at next meeting for Board tp
sign. Mo-ion carried.
