City Council - 06/27/1962 - Special Meeting June 27th 1962
Special Board Meeting held at the American Legion Hall
June 27th 196�4 at 8 o'clock P. M. Present all Board Members
and many visitors. The minutes of the last meeting were read
and approved as read. A group of people from willow creek
appeared in opposition to Boat Racing on Bryant Lake the
afternoon of July 21st. Mr. Hayes, Mr. Larson and Mr.
Arians were heard and after considerable discussion the
following MOTION was offered.
A MOTION was made and duly seconded that the Town Board of the
Town of Eden Prairies hereby rescinds the MOTION made at the June
12th meeting in regard to motor Boat racing on Bryantnos Lake
July 21st 1962. Property owners were not contactedIAN detailed
information was furnished and the public safety was taken into

A MOTION was duly made and seconded that the Town Board
release Joe Semrad's Bond on Road paving in King's Court Add-
ition if the front excavation 6t the edgeof the paving be found
to have 8" of gravel and 2" of bituminous surfacing and provided
further that driveways be paved back wit 6 ft. with 5" bases.

A MOTION was made and duly seconded that the request for
Building permits on lots 5 and 6 in Kings Forest Addition be re-
ferred to the Planning Commission for their consideration.

A ketetion by several persona► in Sterling Field .Add.
in regard to paving of Streets vas tabled on account of in-sufficient
omoxt number of signers.
A MOTION was made and seconded that a date be set for
drawing up a new gravel pit contract with Mr. Earl Sewall.
Motion carried
A MOTION was made and duly seconded that a gravel
permit be granted Louise Doughty at a yearly price of $100.00.
