The monthly Town Board Ye;�ting was held .Apr. 14th 1955 at
the iLmerican r.egion Hall. 8' o'clock F. M. Present all Board

Rogers, The clerk read the minutes of the last meeting and
the Treasurers financial. report for Feb. and '.:arch 1959. Bet:
reports were approved as read.
i:'rs. Dr. MacKinnon gave a fine report on the bill in the
* egistature. The Board was requested to have a representation
at the hearing being held by the St . Paul i"etr000l itan Air Ports
Co.imissior, on the 1: 6th of April ea their offices 2429 Univ. Ave. ,
St Paul in re-gard to the aaegainion of a oonsidrea.ble acreage
of landadjpining the Flying Cloud air Field . YIr. ;filler and
Kenneth were appointed as c3oa d members to attend.
It -was suggest+-d that an ordinance in regardto police
Protection of public parks be considered and if possible
prepaired. It was decided to have our Constable in cunjunction
with the Sheriff's office check all cars entering Rock Island
Park for several week ends.
A :,lotion was duly made and seconded that our Engineer rJr.
Carter check the The Willow Creek bridge project and report to
the board. :Motion Carried
% motion was made and duty seconded that the board acpoint
Ralph Johnson road Comm, for the year 1959.

motion was duly made and seconded the it be the policy
of the Town Board to let sick leave for the regularly employed
of the Town - AecumAlate at the rate of 1 day a month for two
years. The maxium being 24 days.
Motion carried
A motion was duly made and seconded that the regularly
employed Caen working for .he Town be given two weeks vK*d
paid vacations. `.lotion carried
A motion was duly made and seconded that sir. Johnson and
,'r. Stodola be paid yearly salaries of $4200.00 per year or
$350.00 per month. :.lotion carried
A motion was made and seconded that the men purchase
and install a sand sheil d on the Cat tractor at an approximate
cost of '41 2.00 :y otion carried
A motion w.,a duly :wade :tnd seconded that the Clerk purchase
two first aid kits for men to carry in trucks.
