City Council - 03/28/1959 - Special Meeting I 'larch 28th 1959 !� On `arch 28th 1.9513 the Town Board mat at the Town Garage for the purpose of Inspecting the Town equipment and I Viewing all the Town Roads. The Town Equipment was found to be in excellent condition, and the Roads were found to better than usual on account of the lack of -roistcre this spring. The Town, Board proposed to do repair work on the Val" ey Road rear Dr. 7..00re and t•'rs. T•angford's places. The Board considered improvement on Reaeerch Road by nothing definite was recommended tit the present. The narrow Bridge on Will ow Creek was considered and prices of construction were asked for. 7.1any shoulders should be out back and graveling done where necessary. Recommended Repair F. All Board members were present as well as three State Egy Engineers. CThe meeting was called for the purpose of getting the facts from the State in regard to new proposed Hgys to the Town of Eden Prairie and the possibility of getting sufficent crossings and interchanges so that the Town will have a better axoess for School Buses and other transportation. The State were very co-operative and wanted the Town Board in conjunction with our Engineer Mr. Carter to make formal requests and they will study the same do as much as possible in complying with the Towns needs. k _ L� -1 __ Ct erk ;.arch 25th-1959 On rILArch 25th-59 Kenneth E. Anderson - Aivie, Miller and ElLner E. Clark went to the T,egislature for a hearing on the Henn. County Relief Bill. The bill was in committee the pros and cons were heard. There were only three or four present who were in favor of the bill which would put Rural Hennepin in a County System* Noarly every Village, City and Township in the County were present opposing the Bill .
