City Council - 03/28/1958 - Town Meeting March 28-1 958
The Town Hoard met at the Town Garage at 9 A.m March 28th
1958. for the purpose of viewing the Roads in the Township.
Present Kenneth E. Anderson Chairman, Supervisors Donald Rogers and
4vin J . Bran, Road Comae Johnson County Commissioner Ainsworth
and Co. Engineer Pederson.
The following work wan recommended to be done:
Creek Road or (Hill Road ) to be graded and bad
*lay parts to be graveled.
As much as possible the barns on sll roads to be
cut backe and ditches cleanede

Research Road to be widened through cut at Worth end.
Ditches on Franl o Road to be opened and dirt to be
usad for fill on Wigley Road.
Hard surfaced roads to be patched.
County Commissioners were shown the existing bad condition
of Eden Prairie # 66 and after considerable discussion
on how to take care of the situation, the County recommended
that one mite be scarified and a 1" gravel base be 1 aid and
re cealed. The Hoard to figure out just how mach they can
stand of the finance and the Clerk to write the Co.
Commissioners for as much aid as they can possibly get.
This also includes the bump on #66 j mile east of Co. Road #4.
This stretch of hard surface Road was turned back to the
Town several years ago.
On account of the open winter the roads were found
to be in very good condition. '
