City Council - 05/14/1957 - Town Meeting Monthly Board Meeting 5/14-57

The meeting was called to order by the Chairman Mr .
Anderson. The minutes of the last mooting were read '
and approved as read. The monthly bill were checked
found to be corset and they were ordered paid.
A motion was made and seconded that the Town Board
discontinue tine sale of 2-4-D to the people.
Motion carried
Mr. garrison was heard in regard to his agreement
in regard to the 2 houses he has moved onto his property
on Co. Road #18 and he agreed to have them in proper
condition by June lat 1957. He also promised to cease j
moving in other junk. They were also told that it was
Prohibitive to burn old tires.
Mr. Kaiser agreeable to posting the gravel pit on his
property in any that the Town Board nay see fit in regard
to shooting and dumping.
A Motion was made and seconded that the Town Board
erect No Shooting or Trespassing Signs and shut the
entrance off by ,putting 2 post and connecting same
with either a cable or a chain.
Motion carried
A motion was made seconded and carried that the
Board accept the revised plat of S. F. Duglas known
as the Eden Prairie School Addition.
A motion was made seconded and carried that the
clerk notify all persons who volunteered to serve on
civic committee of a meeting to be hold May 21st
8 o9clock P.M. at the American Legion Hall.
Slow and gipped limit signs are to be placed on
Researca Road, Mitchel Road and Scenic Heights Road
Clerk was instructed to write County Surveyor
asking for a survey of the Lake, View road on account
of new construction under considers 09.
