City Council - 10/13/1956 - Town Meeting Regular Board Meeting ,�ItaeZe�+i3er 1.5-19 5 6 The regular monthly Board meeting of the Town 1 of Eden Prairie was held at the American Legion Hall in the Town of Eden Prairie October loth 1956 at 8 o 'clock P . M. Present Kenneth Anderson Chairman, Don Rogers, v n ren Supervisors - Art Miller Treasurer. Harlan Perbia-Harry Hula-Harold Zell and Bob Daly The meeting was called to order by the Chairman Kenneth Anderson. The minutes of the last meeting were read and approved as read. The monthly bills were audited and allowed and the Treasurer was ordered to draw checks for same. The improvement of the Mitchell road was discussed. Mr. Daly was heard and was in Favor. hr. Z.a1.1 objected until he viewed the road with thg,$oar`d and the Board agreed to viewing. A date for to be set . Mr. Seifert agreed to furnishing Rigf't-a-way on his land. After the viewing the Clerk secured the permition from Mr. Zell for Right-a-way on his property. He did not understand just what was needed at first . The Board on motion duly seconded and carried agreed to hire a firm with a cat and scraper to widen and straighten approximatly 1000 felt of the Mitchel Road most of the fill to be taken from North side which is the Zell Seifert side. The Board hired Pox and Weiler of Shakopee to do the work and tt was completed in October. The Clerk was instructed to call the Constables and have them Patrol the Town Roads intermitently for some time . The Constables agreed but felt that they need more equipment in orderto better protect them selves as well as the public . There being no further business the meeting adjourned. IsImer E.
