I. CALL TO ORDER/ROLL CALL Vice Chair Missaghi called the meeting to order at 7:09 p.m. Commission Member Leeper
arrived at 8:13 pm, Aliweyd, Elassar, Kleckner and Pfahnl were absent. Student Members
Ramanathan, Awale, Lunda and Osman were absent. During this time the commissioners and student members introduced themselves. II. INTRODUCTION OF GUESTS
There were no guests present.
III. APPROVAL OF AGENDA
MOTION: Khan moved, seconded by Skeie, to approve the agenda. Motion carried 8-0.
IV. APPROVAL OF THE APRIL 4, 2022 MEETING MINUTES Khan made an addition to the joint meeting minutes with the Parks, Recreation, and Natural Resources Commission. The addition was on page 6, paragraph 6. He would like to add to the end of paragraph the following; Khan would like to see more activities for women,
including swimming and other sports. MOTION: Skeie moved, seconded by Weaver, to table approval of the minutes until the meeting in June. Motion carried 8-0.
