I. CALL TO ORDER/ROLL CALL
Chair Schumacher called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. All commission members
were present.
II. READING OF LAND ACKNOWLEDGEMENT STATEMENT
Fisher read the land acknowledgement statement.
III. APPROVAL OF AGENDA
MOTION: Maxwell moved, seconded by Bowes to approve the agenda. Motion carried
8-0.
IV. APPROVAL OF MINUTES
MOTION: Maxwell moved, seconded by Bowes to approve the minutes of the July 24,
2023 minutes to correct typos of personal names. Motion carried 8-0.
V. NEW BUSINESS
A. PRESERVE MINNESOTA CONFERENCE IN MANKATO (NOVAK-
KREBS)
Novak-Krebs explained the annual conference would be help September 27-29.
At least one person had to attend to keep the Certified Local Government (CLG)
status, and if no one could attend Novak-Krebs would. Lau stated she could go
next year. Ludowese said he would consider going.
