RESOLUTION NO. 2018-124
A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT
CONCEPT OF SMITH VILLAGE FOR COMMONBOND COMMUNITIES, UNITED
PROPERTIES DEVELOPMENT, LLC AND HALLEY LAND CORPORATION
WHEREAS, the City of Eden Prairie has by virtue of City Code provided for the Planned
Unit Development (PUD) Concept of certain areas located within the City; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission did conduct a public hearing on September 11,
2018 and October 8, 2018 on Smith Village by CommonBond Communities, United Properties
Development, LLC and Halley Land Corporation and considered their request for approval of the
PUD Concept plan and recommended approval of the request to the City Council; and
WHEREAS,the City Council did consider the request on November 13, 2018.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of Eden Prairie,
Minnesota, as follows:
1. Smith Village, being in Hennepin County, Minnesota, legally described as
outlined in Exhibit A, is attached hereto and made a part hereof("Property").
2. That the City Council does grant PUD Concept approval as outlined in the plans
stamp dated October 29, 2018.
3. That the PUD Concept meets the recommendations of the Planning Commission
dated October 8, 2018.
ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Eden Prairie this 13th day of November,
2018.
