RESOLUTION NO. 2018-77
RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND ORDERING
ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS FOR
EDEN PRAIRIE ROAD EXTENSION IMPROVEMENTS
I.C. 13-5844
WHEREAS,the City Engineer, with the assistance of SRF Consulting Group,has prepared plans
and specifications for the following improvements to wit:
I.C. 13-5844—Eden Prairie Road Extension Street and Utility Improvements
and has presented such plans and specifications to the Council for approval.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Eden Prairie City Council:
1) That said plans and specifications, a copy of which is on file for public inspection in
the City Engineer's Office, are hereby approved.
2) That the City Clerk shall prepare and cause to be inserted in the official paper and in a
recognized industry trade journal an advertisement for bids upon the making of such
improvement under such approved plans and specifications. The advertisement shall
be published for three weeks, shall specify the work to be done, shall state the date and
time that the bids will be publicly opened and the City Council meeting at which they
will be considered. No bids will be considered unless sealed and filed with the
Engineering Division and accompanied by a cash deposit, cashier's check, bid bond or
certified check payable to the City of Eden Prairie for 5% (percent) of the amount of
such bid.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Eden Prairie City Council,that the city agrees to provide
the enforcement for the prohibition of on-street parking on those portions of said project(I.C. 13-
5844, S.A.P. No. 181-114-001) within its corporate limits.
