HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution - 2016-21 - KAL Point PUD - 01/19/2016 CITY OF EDEN PRAIRIE HENNEPIN COUNTY, MINNESOTA RESOLUTION NO. 2016-21 A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT CONCEPT OF KAL POINT FOR KAL STAY LLC WHEREAS, the City of Eden Prairie has by virtue of City Code provided for the Planned Unit Development (PUD) Concept of certain areas located within the City; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission did conduct a public hearing on December 7, 2015, on Kal Point by Kal Stay and considered their request for approval of the PUD Concept plan and recommended approval of the request to the City Council; and WHEREAS, the City Council did consider the request on January 19, 2016. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of Eden Prairie, Minnesota, as follows: 1. Kal Point, being in Hennepin County, Minnesota, legally described as outlined in Exhibit A, is attached hereto and made a part hereof("Property"). 2. That the City Council does grant PUD Concept approval as outlined in the plans stamp dated December 21, 2015. 3. That the PUD Concept meets the recommendations of the Planning Commission dated December 7, 2015. ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Eden Prairie this 19th day of January, 2016. Parcel 2: The West 160 feet of the following described property: That part of the East Half of the Northeast Quarter and the Northeast Quarter of the Southeast Quarter of Section 27, Township 116, North of Range 22 West of the Fifth Principal Meridian described as follows: Commencing on the North line of said Section 27 at a point 330 feet West of the Northeast corner of said Section, running thence South parallel with the East line of said Section, 3300 feet to the South line of the North Half of the Northeast Quarter of the Southeast Quarter of said Section 27; thence West 660 feet; thence North 3300 feet; thence East 660 feet to the place of beginning lying North of the North line of the South Quarter of the Northeast Quarter of Section 27 and South of the Southerly line of Registered Land Survey No. 791.
