HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution - 2012-91 - Edenvale Parking Lot Expansion - 06/05/2012 CITY OF EDEN PRAIRIE HENNEPIN COUNTY, MINNESOTA RESOLUTION NO. 2012-91 A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT CONCEPT OF EDENDALE PARKING LOT EXPANSION FOR EDENDALE RESIDENCE, INC WHEREAS,the City of Eden Prairie has by virtue of City Code provided for the Planned Unit Development (PUD) Concept of certain areas located within the City; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission did conduct a public hearing on March 26 and April 9, 2012 on Edendale Parking Lot Expansion by Edendale Residence Inc. and considered their request for approval of the PUD Concept plan and recommended approval of the request to the City Council; and WHEREAS, the City Council did consider the request on May 1, 2012 and June 5, 2012. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of Eden Prairie, Minnesota, as follows: 1. Edendale Parking Lot Expansion, being in Hennepin County, Minnesota, legally described as outlined in Exhibit A, is attached hereto and made a part hereof. 2. That the City Council does grant PUD Concept approval as outlined in the plans stamp dated May 31, 2012 with the condition that prior to land alteration and building permit issuance the applicant shall provide the following for staff review and approval. • Detailed storm water runoff, utility and erosion control plans that show grading limits. • Final site plan showing the garage 50 feet from the north property line, parking 80 feet from the north property line, and the fence 10 feet from the edge of the parking area. • Fence plan details for an 8 foot high board on board fence. • Exterior materials for the garage with earth tone colors for the siding, doors, and shingles. • Permit from the watershed district. • Detailed building plans for the garage. • Detailed lighting plan with 15 foot high shielded downcast lights. 3. That the PUD Concept meets the recommendations of the Planning Commission April 9, 2012. ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Eden Prairie this 5th day of June 2012. e5<Ma or ATTEST: anc 4yra KatfiVen' Porta, City Clerk EXHIBIT A PUD Concept- Edendale Parking Lot Expansionand Site Improvements Legal Description: In the following described land situated in the County of Hennepin and State of Minnesota: That part of the Southwest Quarter of the Southeast Quarter.,Section 8,Township 116,Range 22 lying West of the center fine of County Road No,4,North of the South One-fourth of said Southwest Quarter of the Southeast Quarter and South of a line drawn from a point on the West line of said Southwest Quarter of the Southeast Quarter distant 826.31 feet North from the Southwest corner thereof to a point on the East line of said Southwest Quarter of the Southeast Quarter distant 813.12 feet North from the Southeast comer thereof which lies Westerly of a line drawn Southerly at right angles to the North line of the above described property at a point thereon distant 465.80 feet East from the West line of said Southwest Quarter of the Southeast Quarter to the center line of State Highway No.5 and there terminating,except that part of the East 277,00 feet thereof lying South of the North 182.00 feet of the above described property.
